Michael was built 1507-2/1512. Launched 12.10.1511.
She was sold to France 1514 ( 40000 livres), and was now known as
La Grande Nef d’Ecosse.
There is possibility, that ship was involded French invasion of England in 1545.
Her total lenght was said to be 240 ft. and beam 36 ft.
There were 300-seamen, 120 gunners, and 1000 marines.
There was 24 large broadside guns.

Maria run Aground , and Christian II had to be sold the ship
for his subsistence.

1000 tons. There were 51 heavy guns mounted on carriages:

This ship was probably first ship that was covered metal plates of hull (lead plates).
The underwater hull of the Santa Anna was completely sheathed with lead plates. Above the waterline two of the six decks of the ship were also armoured with lead plates, which were fastened by bronze nails to the wooden ship hull.
The plates was suppose to protect the hull from worms.

The ship building was first mentioned in King letter in 1578, but it was not until 1589
when she was arrive in Stockholm.
Ship was discarded 1609/10.
1200 läst (small last 12 tunnor=c.1,33 tons. and navy lästen 18 tunnor=c.2 tons.)
1200x1,33= c.1600 tons of carrying capacity (c.2400 tons of displacement)
There was any dimensions of this ship exist, but ship crew of 200-seamen
(80 men in 800-900 tons. ship) and cables of 24/20/18/14 inch, and 34 tons. of hemp was needed to rig.
 Also rudder had at least nine hinges. All these fact indicated anusual large ship.
