Sophia Amalia 1650 was built by the English shipbuilder James Robbins at Christiania (Oslo), only four ship built there in 1646-1700.
When built, she was biggest ship in Danish-Norway navy.
Orginally her dimensions was 165 x 38-6 x 17-6 ft. , but during her carrieer, she was rebuilt in 1673, and
the dimensions was then 165 x 40-3 x 20 ft. Displacement was c.2000-2200 t.
Sophia Amalia carried 86-108 guns (100 guns in 1662, 102 guns in 1673, and in 1656/57 her shot weights together was 1216 lb.)
There were 28-24 pdr, in her lower deck.Sophia Amalia was Condemned in 1687.
